I live and work in a small place in New Brunswick, CA. Currently in my late twenties, renting an apartment with my friends/Colleagues.

Investing has always been my obsessive thought. I find myself really like to discuss all kinds of personal finance topics with my friends. At age 55, I hope I can own a property, build up a nice nest egg and retire comfortably.

Just stumbled onto your site. For what its worth I would if I was young again, buy blue chip Canadian stocks that have dividend reinvestment plans and just let the dividends buy more shares until you ar ready to retire at 55. The large charter banks in Canada have been paying dividends for over 100 years straight no misses no hiccups. Over time this will provide an incredible low tax cash income. Just my two cents worth.Happy investing.
